WESTLANDS SOLAR PARK

Project Overview

California’s largest renewable energy project, Westlands Solar Park offers a capacity of 2,700 MW, of which 1,170 MW are in active development or already constructed.

Additionally, its 17-mile transmission line is now fully operational. Golden State principals were the founding developers of the project (via a related business, Westside Holdings, LLC), actively launching the effort in 2009 after significant input from key stakeholders in California.

The first phase achieved commercial operation in 2016.
